Eli Kammerman, an analyst at Salomon Brothers, said that Renova should add $200 million to $250 million to Johnson & Johnson's sales in 1996. The product's market could eventually reach $500 million annually, he said. The active ingredient in Renova is tretinoin, which is also the basis of Retin-A, the company's acne medicine.
